Identity of the controller and processor

Microblink acts in the capacity of the data processor when processing your personal data as a user of Microblink Platform, on behalf of its customers as described in this Privacy Notice.

Purpose and lawful basis of the processing

Microblink intends to process your personal data for the purpose of setting up and maintaining your account and to enable your use of the Microblink Platform. Before proceeding with the registration, please read the description of the processing to understand how your personal data is processed.

Description of processing

We require your business email address, password and, if applicable, username (that may contain your first and last name or other personal data) to create, maintain, and verify your account, ensuring secure access to our dashboard. Your email is essential for account authentication, password recovery, and important service-related communications. Without a valid email, we cannot verify your identity or grant you access to the platform. We handle your information securely and only use it for account management and necessary notifications related to your use of our services.

Microblink shall implement all the necessary measures to protect the security and confidentiality of received Personal Data. Microblink shall not share personal data with any third party other than its affiliated companies and its authentication and authorization service provider.

Data subject’s rights

You may object to this processing by sending your request to privacy@microblink.com. When sending such a request, you must give specific reasons why you are objecting to the processing of your data based on your particular situation. After such request, Microblink shall determine whether it can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing (primarily contracts and other legal obligations that may require us to keep some personal data), which overrides your interests, rights and freedoms, or whether the processing is for the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims. Please keep in mind that, if you want to continue to use Microblink Platform, the deletion of your personal data might not be possible.

As a Data Subject, depending on the circumstances, you also have a right to request copies of your personal data (right of access), rectify personal data you think is inaccurate, or to complete data you think is incomplete (right to rectification), erase your personal data in certain circumstances (right to erasure), restrict the processing of your personal data in certain circumstances (restriction of processing), object to the processing of your personal data in certain circumstances (object to processing), right to data portability and a right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. You are not required to pay any charge for exercising your rights.

Note that Microblink does not process your data for automatic decision-making nor uses techniques for profiling.
